SKILL DEVELOPMENT CENTER ( NON PMKVY)
Courses of Training
Duration of all the courses is two years . Syllabus and Scheme of examination are as prescribed by the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) New Delhi,(Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Govt. of India). The examination conducted by the N.C.V.T. annually .
The classes will commence from 1st of August every year and will be held from 9-00 a.m. to 1-00 p.m. and 1-30 p.m. to 4-30 p.m. throughout the year without any vacation.
Tuition and other fees will be as prescribed by the N I E Society.
Fees once paid will not be refunded.
Scope of Employment in Industries
Efforts are made to keep close Liaison with industries and to place the successful candidates in various establishments.
Involvement of Industries
Arrangements are made to prevail on the organisers of industries, in and around Mysore.
- To afford facilities for in plant training in their industries
- To spare their experts to give special lectures to Trainees.
Self Generating Schemes
The Management is interested in developing certain useful schemes like "Earn while you learn". Plans are under consideration to start production service and consultancy centres for generating resources to the institute.
