The N.I.E. Society is registered under Societies Act and is located in a building of its own in Mysore.

The N.I.E. I.T.I is managed by N.I.E. Society. The Managing Committee consists of ten members. comitted to serve the society.

NIE  was established in the year 1946 and has produced galaxy of eminent alumni like Sri NARAYANA MURTHY N R  Founder of Infosys, Sri. E A S Prasanna, Cricketer, Sri. Mysuru Nagaraja Now settled in New York,  Sri. Kumar Malavalli Now in USA etc.  

NIE’s less known sibling NIE ITI Established in the year 1976,  has trained & contributed many eminent Artisans to the Indian Industry.  Some of them have established their own Industry & created employment for others also, some are working in Managerial level in different Industries, some are working  ABROAD,  some of them  persued  higher education, secured B.E Graduation for better career prospects.

Companies like ROBERT BOSCH, ITC, EICHER, RMS, TOYOTO KIRLOSKAR, NESTLE, AT&S, KAYNES TECHNOLOGY  & other big Companies are conducting Campus Interviews in our ITI.
